  • Ankheg Brood MotherA large monstrosity with chitinous hide that serves as the matriarch of an ankheg colony. It can burrow through earth and stone, and uses acid spray attacks. When damaged by fire or slashing, it sprays acid in a radius. It can cause tunnel collapses when severely wounded, and releases a final burst of acid upon death.
  • Ankheg SpawnA tiny monstrosity with chitinous hide, the juvenile form of an ankheg. They have hive instinct, gaining advantage on attacks when near other ankhegs. They can burrow and use acid glob attacks. Their bites release digestive fluid that deals acid damage.
  • ArmaniteA large fiend (demon) with hooves, claws, and a serrated tail, born of fire. It has magic resistance, lightning-infused attacks, and a Lightning Lance breath. One guarded the entrance to the Forge of Ash in the Dwarven Mountains.
  • Baby RocThe juvenile form of a Roc, capable of flight and diving attacks, found nesting in the Fangridge foothills outside Kingdom Grand.
  • Cinder GuardA Molokite elf warrior bound to living stone, once tasked with guarding the seal on He Who Slumbers. Left masterless and leeched into a stupor after the Beast was re-subdued, the Cinder Guard fight in packs and unleash a swarm of cinders, but can be freed and rearmed with sunsteel blades once cured of their Bliss Leeches. Veyl is the first to recover.
  • DreamleecherA monstrosity that guards the threshold before the Sealing Chasm, feeding on dreams to inflict Dread and releasing a psychic pulse or an acid-and-fire burst when killed.
  • Elder MossA dangerous moss that grows in ancient dungeons. When a creature touches, inhales, or comes within 10 feet of it, they must make a Wisdom saving throw or suffer madness effects including seeing illusory creatures, attacking allies, losing control of their body, or taking psychic damage. The moss induces hallucinations and can cause creatures to become separated from their allies.
  • Giant ScorpionA sixteen-foot-long desert beast that scrabbles forward with ferocious claws raised and its stingered tail arched over its back. It burrows beneath the sand to strike with hit-and-run tactics, grappling prey in its claws and dragging victims—civilians and adventurers alike—down into its tunnels. Groups of them, drawn by the heat of unstable arcane crystals, menace the oases of the Western Wastes.
  • Hall CreeperA medium shapechanging monstrosity that can polymorph into Small or Medium humanoids it has seen. It uses this ability to mimic allies and ambush victims. It has advantage on attacks against surprised creatures and can use a life leech attack that deals necrotic damage and reduces the target's hit point maximum. It can climb walls and uses stealth and deception to hunt its prey.
  • He Who SlumbersAlso called the One Who Sleeps, or simply the Beast by the Molokite who once served it. A primordial horror created by The Evil One from a tarrasque corpse through biomancy, grown stronger with each life sacrificed to its bio-vats—the younger the victim, the greater the offering. The Molokite worship it in the dungeon beyond the Great Dungeon Gate, and Holt believed Lullwater would let him control it upon awakening. After the guilds forced it back into slumber, it could no longer be held by the failing rites of the last Molokite survivors alone, and a living soul had to be bound into the Sealing Chasm to anchor it once more.
  • Molokite ElfA tall, pale-skinned elf of the ancient Molokite people, marked by ethereal green veins, large black eyes, long fingers, and regal bearing. They fight alongside Holt and the Slumber Cult at the Great Dungeon Gate.
  • Mother RocA massive Roc that ambushes travelers returning from her nest, grappling with her beak and talons and buffeting foes with her wings.
  • Mutated YetiA large monstrosity with natural armor and glowing eyes. It has immunity to cold, and can use a number of abilities, including Legendary Resistance, Blood Frenzy, Fear of Fire, Multiattack, Claw, Ice Throw, Chilling Gaze, and Cold Breath.
  • Paper DragonA huge monstrosity—a folded paper dragon that ignites with crimson fire when unleashed, also known as Jeffery. Holt deployed it to block escape after murdering Sage Elbera. It has fire resistance and immunity to several damage types, superheated hide that burns those who touch it, and can use Burning Pulse, Ignite Terrain, and a volatile core that explodes when it reaches 0 hit points. It understands Draconic but cannot speak.
  • Shadow PantherA dark panther that can transport someone to the Nightmare Realm if touched.
  • WitchlingA young apprentice of the coven that once stole youth-magic from the Molokite, fighting with an obsidian dagger and a hurled curse. Found guarding the caverns beneath Kingdom Grand alongside the Withered Crones.
  • Withered CroneA witch of the coven that stole youth-magic from the Molokite, aged decades into bitterness when He Who Slumbers slept again and the stolen magic failed. Attacks with a fear-inducing wail, a withering touch, and hexbolts.
  • Wretched KnightSame as a Death Knight, but weaker.
  • YetiA large monstrosity that normally doesn't attack groups but can act strangely and have glowing eyes.
